SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - Timothy Brachmanis, a young entrepreneur of just 24 years old, has set his sights on the American tool market. Through his family company, Brac Enterprises PTY LTD, Brachmanis is determined to bring the highly regarded Sears Craftsman range of tools to Australia.

The genesis of this venture began during a trip to Hawaii, where Brachmanis first encountered the Craftsman brand. Impressed by the quality, pricing, and broad selection of the range, he saw an untapped opportunity in the Australian market. At the time, Australian consumers had a limited choice between inexpensive, poor-quality tools and expensive, high-quality ones. The Craftsman tool range promised to bridge this gap, offering a balance of affordability and quality.

Undeterred by initial hesitation from Sears International Marketing Incorporated (SIMI), Brachmanis persisted, embarking on a comprehensive market research project to demonstrate the potential of the Craftsman brand in Australia. This initiative is the first of its kind, and if successful, promises to transform the Australian tool market.
